Fascia, soffits and guttering products may go un-noticed. However, they are the finishing touches to your home. Britelite’s fascia and soffits protect the roof space and rafters which would otherwise be exposed to the elements.
What Is Roofline?
A. The Guttering
Designed to catch the rain water that runs from the roof then to guide the water to the downpipes.
B. The Fascia
This is a uPVC board that runs along the lower edge of the roof, it caps the ends of the rafters outside and is used to hold up the guttering.
C. The Soffit
This is a uPVC board that bridges the gap between the the house wall and the Fascia.
Why Should You Update Your Roofline?
If your fascia and soffits are made from timber, which can rot and wear out, you may want to update your roofline to avoid the hassle of regular maintenance such as sanding and painting. It will also help you to prevent birds from nesting in areas of your roof.
Britelite’s range of roofline products are low maintenance and long lasting. They come in a number of colours and styles and we offer some great optional extras including vented soffits, bird and wasp protection.
When getting quotes for fascia products you should ensure that they are like for like. Many less reputable companies use products that clad over existing fascia, but Britelite will always replace your existing fascia unless you instruct us otherwise.
