Britelite was founded in 1970 by John Baxter and his business partner Arthur Clacy. One of Arthur’s favourite adages was ‘If we supply the best product at the keenest price, we are sure to succeed’ and this policy has stood Britelite in good stead for over 50 years. It’s a simple adage, but it helps us remember to focus on what’s important: supplying the finest products available at the most competitive price possible.

For over 50 years it has been Britelite’s policy to be open and honest with every customer. That is why we offer our lowest price ‘first time – every time’ with no hidden extras, and why our price always includes VAT and fitting.

We have installed literally hundreds of thousands of windows throughout the South East and we believe our Triple ‘A’ rated service is simply the finest available. The quality of our installations is consistently excellent; every single one of our fitters works towards the NVQ level 2 standard for the installation of windows and doors. We are proud to call them fine ambassadors for the company, who will treat you and your home with total respect.

To ensure we provide our customers with widest range of services we may use subcontractors for specific aspects of the work to be completed, This means we can offer you a wider range of services including electrics, plastering, building work and more.

Whilst everyone at our company tries their level best to satisfy customers, we are only human and on rare occasions things go wrong. Rest assured, though, that if this happens we put it right as quickly as possible. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the installation carried out by Britelite, we will arrange a visit by a senior manager within 48 hours of your complaint being received.

A Short History of Britelite

Britelite started with John Baxter and Arthur Clacy in the showroom/offices in Lower Stone Street in Maidstone, with two teams of fitters and two administrators. Now, in 2016, we have our Head Office in Parkwood Trading Estate, Maidstone which also houses one of our conservatory show centres. We have over 40 teams of fitters and over 50 staff members, all of whom are committed to the task of making your installation run smoothly.

The Britelite Home Improvement Plan

At Britelite we understand that buying windows, doors or a conservatory is a considered purchase and as a result we offer you the option of the Britelite home improvement plan.

We have three different plans: 5 year or 10 year interest bearing, or Buy Now Pay Later over 12 months and with all of them you can make additional payments or clear your account at any time. By making overpayments or finishing your loan, you can control not only the length of your loan but also the amount of interest you pay.
