Conservatory Association
As a further indication of our professionalism, Britlelite are also members of the Conservatory Association.
Association members are thoroughly vetted both at a local and national level before membership is granted. It is also requisite for member companies only to use products that meet British Standards and to follow a strict Code of Ethical Practice.
The Conservatory Association also protects your deposit with an insurance backed indemnity fund for up to 25% of the purchase price (up to £3,000).
Benefits of dealing with a Conservatory Association member:
- Only reputable and financially sound companies are permitted into membership. They must have ben trading for three years and pass a vetting at local and national levels before joining.
- Conduct is governed by a Code of Good Practice.
- Members are obliged to use only products that comply with the relevant British Standards Institution and Conservatory Association specifications.
- Conduct is regulated and monitored by the Conservatory Association which is in turn controlled by it’s parent body, the Glass and Glazing Federation, the industry watchdog.
- Any disputes between a customer and a member can be conciliated at no cost.
- Deposits are protected by the GGF deposit indemnity fund (subject to the exercise of the fund administrator’s discretion) for up to 25% of the purchase price or £3,000 whichever is lower.
- All members comply with GGF publication “A Guide to Good Practice in the Specification and Installation of Conservatories within the United Kingdom”
